I really like that, will get it.

One song that makes me plant the foot is Shock of the Lightning. When this Jag promo came out I had a silver 4.2 XF and I have to say I'd get the rush of blood listening to the song while driving it. Quite an amazing backstory to the speed attempt, apparently due to a large patch of water on the flats the car had to be steered around it and ended up going sideways at around 200mph.
Unfortunately in the production model of that engine the supercharger whine was all but eradicated.

Interesting video Bruce. I was not aware that an XFR had broken the XJ220 record.

The actual car was in the Jaguar collection at Gaydon when I was last there about a year ago.
I think.

I will have a look out for it when I am there next month.

Well one of you put me on to the Lazys which is a very good Aussie band, today's pick is the Half Mast Blues which is a bit of a laugh, it took me a minute to realise it isnt all about sailing...

Spent 3 hours in the car yesterday, so I listened to quite a lot of music. The stand out track was this half a century old song from 1970. It sounded absolutely amazing through the Meridian :D

Back when the world was young, I was hitch-hiking back home from Manchester because my bike had blown up (a Suzuki B120P  )

A little old lady in a 2CV stopped to pick up this dodgy looking biker with a cut off denim and a crash helmet!

She turned out to be a retired headmistress from somewhere oop north, and we had a pleasant natter while listening to a tape full of real Fleetwood Mac like that!

Sad news, Peter Green has today sadly passed away.

RIP Peter. :(
