Spent 3 hours in the car yesterday, so I listened to quite a lot of music. The stand out track was this half a century old song from 1970. It sounded absolutely amazing through the Meridian :D
Sad news, Peter Green has today sadly passed away.

RIP Peter. :(

Also sad news, we lost Tim Smith of Cardiacs fame this week, Florian Schneider from Kraftwerk a few weeks ago. It is getting depressing.

All of my cars have names, but that is another post...

My XKR is called Animal. Named after the drummer in the Muppets. This is an appropriate track :D

Well it's not quite in the system yet but I saw this on an episode of "Taken" tonight and it is pretty catchy, it will be playing tomorrow...

I like that one. For some reason she put me in mind of Rosie Bones who sang on the Jeff Beck album Loud Hailer.

Nice...speaking of female vocalists, a few days ago we had kid shows on tv to keep the dogs amused (yes), anyway an ad comes on for the station (abc kids) and it has these 3 kids dancing around and singing some song about some kids stuff but the tune was dreadfully familiar and I knew I had heard it in my early punk days. 10 minutes later it was found, 15 minutes later it was in the car system, anyway here it is, an oldie but a goodie:

That popped up at random in mine yesterday

In my defence, I've had the 7" single since it first came out, and they were one of my favourite punk bands!

I have to say that you don't get this quality of music discussion on the XK forum. Over there it seems to be more Vera Lynn or the Wurzels.

But I did lift this from the XK site. Says it all really

Some nice stuff, I'm actually expanding my horizons...

Here is one of the best remixes I've heard, got it from the sense8 soundtrack which was overall very good
