From Bev's link I can say that the specialist local to me that I did use . . . . . . IS NOT ON THE LIST. I did wonder if it was a lottery!

However the other one is, and will get a try for my next need.

Cheers Bev.

I'm a bit sceptical about that list. The "specialist" local to me is a specialist in every make of car that I've ever owned (except the Austin A30).

You can always check any on-line reviews before using them.

I can't see my local Jag Specialist on this list (The Jag Specialist in Doncaster), bit strange as they only maintain Jaguars and are highly recommended on all Jaguar forums that I contribute to.
2016 Jaguar XE Prestige 20T in Bluefire.
Parking pack fitted but not used.
S/S still working on original battery!n
Did have two X Types, a 2.5L then a 2.2L Auto with the dreaded DPF. No more DPF's for me.

Perhaps they're not an Independent?

Or maybe they just haven't signed up to the "register".

Any more specialists that members can recommend ?

I'm guessing they haven't signed up. They are definitely an independent garage.

The website owners probably make money from getting businesses to pay a subscription to appear on the list. Any business that doesn’t appear on the list either hasn’t been approached or has enough business by reputation not to have to bother.
