Post by KevinInSuffolkUK » Sat Jan 12, 2019 10:39 pm

Just seen this concept :- http://www.indiaonline.me/technology/au ... pt-car.asp

Looks familiar but will it really be an XE ?

Looks superb. Touch of F-type at the rear. 400bhp combined. What's not to like !

Love the LED heads, been banging on about this for ages! But stunningly beautiful. Especially in Caesium blue.

To answer the original question, no it isn't.
Its a design studio impression/concept.
The write up about the technical aspects is nothing new either, it's all been bandied about the public domain before regarding potential future JLR hybrids.
Plus, if it was official I think the english might be quite a bit better.

Put this one on the fantasy shelf along with the XE coupe/estate someone did a couple of years ago, the F-Type 4 door "shooting brake" which actually looked quite good and all the other concepts the design studios knock out from time to time.

Do we think JLR with develop a hybrid Jag? Seem pretty committed to being ahead of the pack with full electric. If they sold this mock-up and I could afford it I'd definitely go for it.
