Blueberry PIE

Post by PIE » Thu Nov 21, 2019 2:01 pm

Collected my ride slightly less than 3 weeks back. Normally wheels are the first that I'd upgrade but couldn't find any (5x108 is really rare here). So PPS become my first stop.

Found my rims and tyres after but still feel abit lacking (post pics later)

Lots of Ford's and Volvos use the same hub diameter and stud pcd, just check the offsets of any wheel you chose is suitable.
MY17 240 R-Sport, IRR, Black Pack, Park Pack, Cold Climate Pack, 19" Twin 5 Spokes, Jet/Red Interior, 10 Way + Lumbar, Split Rear Seat, ICT Pro, Illuminated Tread Plates, Configurable Mood Lighting, Alloy Paddles & Pedals, Homelink, Spare Wheel.

Hi Daytona, yes I have driven 3 Volvos before this but the XE stock staggered offset made it a little bit more complicated. These are my current rims which is 18x8, ET45. Think 18x8 ET35 or 18x8.5 ET40 should do better for me. Tyres I went for 225/45 which looks a bit narrow imo (stock tyres in this pic). I am also thinking whether should stick to gloss black which I will need to dechrome the trimmings or switch back to the colour scheme of the Templars.

Took the plunge and switched to rims from a UK brand a couple weeks back (similar design though).
Photo taken after trim dechromed last weekend.

Have a great weekend!
