First Snow Foam

Post by The Motor2 » Wed Mar 25, 2020 9:00 pm

I used a snow foam lance for the first time today. I pressure washed the heavy crap first, then foamed and then pressure washed off. What a difference.

The lance and Magifoam were from Autobrite. I followed it up with a two bucket wash with AutoGlym bottle quality bodywork shampoo.

I have had the kit since beginning of Feb but it would have been pointless in the weather we have had.

As you can see the foam was quite thick mainly (some practice needed :) )

I think it will take til midnight for it all to disappear from the drive ......

I can recommend Meguiars quick wax to finish takes about 15 mins and really easy to use

I agree. I've been using the snow foam for about a year now and find that it does a great job. Also using Meguiars Quick Detailer (maybe the same as quick wax but named differently here) which is really easy to use and gives a great final result.

Wot that man said...

I really like the Caesium Blue I've got, but the British Racing Green would have been my first choice! :(

Great job! :D I use Snow Foam regularly - Autoglym Polar Blast, it's Ph neutral so during the winter months I spray some under the car to get the salt off. Tip: don't clean the car in sunshine, clean beginning or end of the day, and don't let the Snow Foam dry on the car before washing off.
In addition to Snow Foam I've recently been using Polar Seal (Autoglym) which is a hydrophobic rinse, really good stuff - worth checking out. I think this lock-down will leave us with some nice clean and shiny cars! Stay safe and healthy all...
