Oil from lower front control arm?

Hi all,

Quick question, does this look like the front lower control arm bush leaking? Would this cause intermittent squeaking on rough road?

It's got some drips of very thin dark oil right below the bush. It's on the air box side of a 2015 Portfolio 2.0l petrol. This pic was taken after I had driven it so I think that would explain the direction of oil run on the arm. Had the car in and out of the AA dealer with fuel pressure sensor, rear control arm and aux belt issues weeks after collecting it and that took over a month. Only had it back 3 weeks and was told the squeak might have been from the interior. Thought I'd take a look before i complain again as the squeak was getting on my nerves. I doubt warranty will cover this.

Thanks in advance

Thank for the heads up. Took just over an hour but did it myself yesterday. You are right, the biggest pain was accessing the front bolt to torque it up when there was load on the suspension. The undertray screws were pretty rusted so didn't want the hassle of them so accessed the bolt though the hole in the plastic with a longer 18mm socket. Squeak has improved but it's still there sometimes even though I sprayed every bush and joint on all four wheels with silicon spray while the car was up. At least the control arm isn't leaking anymore.

They are actually oil filled bushes, not solid as they might appear to be. If they are leaking they will be an MOT fail. I had one go a couple of years back, but If its any consolation quite a straight forward nut and bolt job to replace and there are a number about on Fleabay at reasonable cost.
