On holiday and struggling to finalise a spec before my return home and discussion with dealer.

Do any Polaris White owners wish they had spec'd Glacier White?

Are Glacier White owners happy it was money well spent?

If funds permit I would say Glacier White, I have had quite a few comments from people saying it's different to just standard white, on sunny days you can see a blue tinge to it. Money well spent IMO.
There is nothing wrong with white, my XKR was white and looked great, it's just Glacier White does look a little more special.

I was in a similar position but decided to stick with the free paint. no regrets in not going glacier. If I was to pay for the paint I would have gone for grey blue or red.
This might help:

After a good polish and wax it comes out really well:

I agree, Glacier White in the sun looks stunning you can certainly see the metallic fleck.

I went for the standard Polaris white with the black pack. On reflection I wish I had spent just a little more on the Glacier white, I've seen a couple in the flesh and they look stunning ( not that there is anything wrong with the standard solid white) :D

As someone who has owned both colours i can say the glacier does look spectacular. In bright sunlight it does however just look like any other white. The metallic only really shows up best in the shade and less bright conditions.

I found the Polaris to be a very nice wet glossy white when waxed . Unless the colour makes you say wow after seeing it spend the ÂŁ600 on another option.

Polaris white actually looks crisp and clearly white. The Glacier has a tendency to look off white or even grey! If you have ever washed your white undies in a dark wash, you will get my drift! I have Polaris and love it, but the weather is not kind at the moment. For the ÂŁ600 I saved on the Glacier/Grey option
I got the Meridian upgrade.

I agree. I looked at glacier but in certain conditions to me it looked "off white" slightly grey when compared to Polaris which is a a more clear white. That's just my personal opinion and depends on what you prefer, each to their own and all that.

Ultimately its your choice and whatever anyone else says, it's down to you.

I'm more than happy with Polaris and spent the difference on other extras.

decided on Polaris White

While I liked Glacier, on a dull damp morning looking at the two colours a car apart in car park at rear of showroom, convinced me.

Glacier did look fantastic in the sun under a blue sky, but where I live...

I asked my dealer which white. I'd seen a Glacier White one and loved it, but they said in their opinion, they'd go with Polaris as its a 'bolder' white & went on to show me one next to a Glacier. So I've ordered mine in Polaris as per their recommendation
